TSEWER BETA INTERVIEW

Djtrx:
Your music sells, Marl1 is played on American radiostations, you have an offer for a soundscore of a Hollywood movie, where does the succes of Tsewer Beta come from?
Tsewer Beta:
I compose my music with a lot of passion and emotion, the tracks tell their own stories. Marl1 is a real hit at the moment and Sirus Satellite and Proton radio are playing it very often. My style is quite unique but easy to listen to for people of all ages. It's also very suitable for a soundtrack.
Djtrx:
Where do you get your inspiration, do you have musical roots?
Tsewer Beta:
As a child I was facinated by music and wanted to play the guitar. I visited music-schools and started playing in a band: Soporific. I learned how to write songs. Nice detail: I'm going to work with the female singer of Soporific on my new album. I get my inspiration from U2, Ulrich Schnauss, Nathan Fake, Trentemoller, Keane, Bjork and Moby. Listening to The Prodigy teached me the essentials of beats. It's nice to see people get inspired by my music too. Everybody can learn from each other.
Djtrx:
'You'll never guess' will be released in March. Can you say something about how the album was created?
Tsewer Beta:
Most tracks on the album are very personal and related to persons who are very dear to me. It's personal but fantastic to express this in music.
Djtrx:
Any plans for the future?
Tsewer Beta:
I like the idea of cooperating with other artists and use vocals in my tracks. On my new album I will work together with Sabine de Lat, Bart Ypma and Simon from Demonise. I would also like to lay my hands on remixing. This year I made a remix of Nelsen Grovers 'Running' and it got me really inspired. So there is a lot more to come!
